The assessment of young children’s development and learning has recently taken on new importance. Well-planned and effective assessments ensure better outcomes for children.
Kids R Kids has been using the DOE developed VPK Assessment Tool kit to assess the progress of our VPK students. The assessment is performed throughout the school year and provides valuable information for both parents and teachers. Each child’s progress is measured individually. Overall classroom results are also measured for gains. Future lesson plans are tailored to ensure that each child reaches their fullest potential.
We’re very proud of our 2011 VPK graduates. Recent assessment results were outstanding!
